Bridging the Gap Between Rehab and Performance
Every athlete starts with a thorough evaluation — not just of the injury, but of movement quality, sport demands, and performance goals. This is the foundation of a plan that actually works.
Step 1: Evaluate & Understand
Pain relief is just the beginning. Apex progressively rebuilds strength, mobility, and neuromuscular control — addressing the root cause, not just the symptoms.
Step 2: Recover & Rebuild
Return-to-sport testing ensures athletes are truly ready — not just medically cleared. Apex uses objective benchmarks to confirm readiness for the full demands of competition.
Step 3: Return to Sport
Experience That Bridges Rehab and Performance.
Apex is led by Trae Mingus, PT, DPT, ATC, OCS, CSCS, a sports physical therapist with experience working with athletes across the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. His background includes time with the Indianapolis Colts, West Virginia University Football, UNC Charlotte, Davidson College, and other high-performance settings. Trae brings an athlete-centered approach to rehabilitation and performance.
Every session at Apex is one-on-one — no aides, no handoffs, and no assembly-line care. You work directly with the same provider throughout the entire process, from injury through full return to performance.
